Calloway County School District

The Calloway County School District is located in Calloway County, Kentucky, United States and is the educational home to over 3000 students.[1] The district operates an award winning pre-school, three elementary schools, one middle school, and Calloway County High School.[2]

Calloway County High School offers many elective courses and extra-curricular activities including FFA, Technology Students of America, Drama Club, Choir, Band (2-time State AAAA runner-up) and more. Calloway holds two athletic team state championships including Fast Pitch Softball in 2004 and Track & Field. Rachel Adams added her name to the history books in 2008 by being the state high jump champion for 3 years in a row. Calloway County also has a history of successful Speech Teams, including dozens of state championships. The most famous alumnus of Calloway County's Speech Team is W. Earl Brown.
